Free as a Bird Cage Light!

Found this Vintage Hendryx Art Deco Bird Cage (the Cadillac of cages I am told) & it screeched make me into a lamp. The filaments of the Edison bulb echo the gracefully deco lines of the cage.

Touch this bad boy anywhere & it dims the light. Open the cage door to change the bulb.

No birds allowed though, tweety would go batty in this thing. One of a kind (for now)—Looking for more cages. Hanging version coming soon!

Giant Lamp Sale Needs Giant Lamp

We will be posting sneak peeks of our lamp sale (December 3 & 4—3819 N. Lincoln) starting with this ginormous vintage driftwood lamp.  55" Tall—that's 4 1/2 feet of wood! That's alot of wood. Serious wood. The shade is 30"across. My son, Gunnar, is a little scared of this thing and for good reason.

[Robin hates this one—but not to worry—we have a HUGE variety of pieces for the sale—art deco chrome, 60s pottery, danish modern teak & brass—floor lamps, hanging lamps, desk lamps, table lamps & yes this crazy thing]
